Accessory Return Policy
Your complete satisfaction with our product is guaranteed. Accessory items may be returned or exchanged in their original packaging within
14 days of receipt. Simply follow the Return/Exchange Instructions on the invoice included with your package.
Items purchased online (not including furniture) can be returned or exchanged at any of our Hibiscus Island Home retail locations, or by following the mail return instructions on the back of your receipt.
However, items purchased at a Hibiscus Island Home store can only be returned or exchanged at our retail stores. Items purchased at a Hibiscus Island Home store will be subject to the In Store Return exchange and refund policy posted in each store, please check your receipt for more details. PayPal orders may be returned at any Hibiscus Island Home store location for credit back to your PayPal account. Please allow 2-3 weeks for your account to be credited.
Exact items can only be exchanged for PayPal orders.
Shipping charges are non-refundable for items purchased online. Please do not ship returns C.O.D. If you receive any portion of your order damaged, please contact us prior to returning the items. Hibiscus Island Home will not reimburse you for unauthorized shipping expenses incurred. Please retain all shipping materials for UPS or Fed ex pick up and or inspection.
If we request that you return the merchandise to us, we may reimburse you for return shipping expenses at our discretion. Hibiscus Island Home may only reimburse you for the ground shipping expense that was charged for shipping the item(s) originally to you. We will not reimburse you for overnight, express or other special services used at your discretion.
Holiday, seasonal and sale items
Items with prices ending in 9 are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. Due to the seasonality of some items, holiday merchandise cannot be returned or exchanged after the holiday date has passed.
Furniture Return Policy
Online and phone orders shipped to you via UPS or FedEx may be returned within 3 days of receipt with pre-authorization by Hibiscus Island Home.

Furniture items must be properly packaged in the original shipping containers and packaging materials. Shipping charges for furniture deliveries are non refundable. Return delivery charges and restocking fees will apply.
If you choose to return a furniture item, Hibiscus Island Home will not reimburse you for any unauthorized shipping expenses incurred by you.
Furniture purchases cannot be returned to any Hibiscus Island Home store location.
Refunds or exchanges for UPS or FedEx furniture returns will be processed when the item(s) has been received in our warehouse or drop ship location. Please allow up to 2 to 3 weeks for your refund or exchange to process.
If a furniture item delivered to you via UPS or FedEx arrives damaged, please call us immediately at 305-576-9979. Retain all packing materials unless instructed otherwise by Hibiscus Island Home. We may require photos of any damage prior to processing your order.

Credits to your charge card
Credit card and PayPal refunds will only be credited to the credit card or account used on the original purchase. It will take 2-3 weeks from the date that Hibiscus Island Home has received your return for your account to be credited. If you made a purchase using a check or money order, your refund will arrive in 2-3 weeks of receipt of your return.
Orders purchased with a Hibiscus Island Home Gift Card will have a new gift card issued for the value of the returned items.
How to make an accessory return or exchange Follow these steps:
Complete the required information on the Return/Exchange Form, located on the back of the original packaging invoice.
If you wish to make a return or an exchange please indicate the
following: tell us the reason why, and let us know what item you now desire by telling us the SKU, product description, and price of the new item.
Pack and seal your return securely in the original package if possible.
Include the completed Return/Exchange Form. Packages must be returned prepaid. We recommend you insure all packages. Hibiscus Island Home cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries.
Eligible returns made without a receipt will be issued a Hibiscus Island Home Gift Card for the current value of the returned item(s).

Where to return or exchange an item
If you would like to bring your accessory return or exchange to any of our Hibiscus Island Home retail store locations, please do so during store hours. Make sure you bring the original invoice to the store with you to indicate an online purchase.
Sale Price Adjustments
Sale price adjustments must be made within 10 days of the original ship date unless otherwise specified. Seasonal and holiday items are excluded.

In an effort to keep cost down, use less packing materials, and use less fuel, all part of our company's environment statement, some furniture will require some assembly, instructions are included, and we are here to help should you have any questions, simply call us at 305-576-9979
UPS and FedEx make up our major carriers. We will ship your order from either our distribution center in Miami Florida or from one of our store locations, to reach you in your requested shipping timeframe. We also use a variety of other major carriers to support our larger deliveries. Items purchased together will not necessarily be shipped together. All ship times are in business days. Please allow 1 to 3 business days to process your order prior to shipping.
Curbside Shipping: Some oversized items may be too large for UPSs or FedEx shipping. Those items will be shipped to you via Freight Delivery Curbside Drop Service. You will sign for the delivery at the curb.
Curbside Delivery can take three to four weeks to arrive once shipped from our warehouse. Items needing Curbside Delivery will be noted in the product description.
Product availability and pricing are subject to change without further notice. Delivery and Special Handling charges are based on total value of your order and the size, shape or weight of the item(s) being purchased. All orders received will be shipped with a signa ture requested for delivery.
When shipping orders to Alaska, Hawaii and, Puerto Rico, only Standard
5 to 9 Business Day service is available. APO/FPO orders will be shipped via the U.S.P.S. and delivery times will be longer. To inquire about ordering items to ship to Puerto Rico or APO/FPO boxes please call 305-576-9979.
If there is a delay in the shipping of part of your order, we will notify you of the items(s) that may be affected. Also, please note, depending on the size of the item ordered and the number of pieces requested, all items ordered may not arrive in the same box or on the same day. Items showing the CALL STORE FOR AVAILABILITY message may still be available to you if you call 305-576-9979 Please have the SKU number of the item(s) you wish to inquire about. Hibiscus Island Home has four different shipping methods for delivering
furniture. The method employed depends on the delivery zip code and the
quantity and or type of furniture. Not all options will be available
for all orders.
It is the customer’s responsibility to measure to be sure that the
items purchased will fit through all doorways, halls, stairwells,
elevators or any other passageways. None of the delivery services offer
a hoisting service.
A delivery charge will be assessed for each time that a delivery is
made to a single address. All furniture deliveries require a signature
at the time of delivery.
Local Delivery: Local Delivery is based on your zip code and its
proximity to our store locations within the contiguous United States.

Freight Delivery: Freight Delivery is based on your zip code within the
contiguous United States. The delivery fee includes up to two pieces of
furniture . Delivery times range from four to five weeks from the time
your order leaves our warehouse.
Freight Curbside Delivery: Some smaller pieces may be available for
Curbside Delivery, a drop service delivered to you on your curb. A
signature is required upon delivery. Items like mirrors, ottomans,
benches, and nightstands are some of the items that may be shipped via
Curbside Delivery. There are n
o additional services, such as in-home
placement, assembly etc.Curbside delivery is available only in the
contiguous United States.
UPS or FedEx Delivery: Some of our smaller furniture pieces are
eligible for FedEx delivery using Standard Shipping. Shipping costs are
based on the total retail value of the order plus any related “Special
Handling Charge” that may apply. Furniture shipped via UPS or FedEx
can be expected in five to nine business days. Signature is required
upon delivery. There are no additional services, such as in-home
placement, assembly etc. with FedEx delivery. Furniture items that are
eligible for FedEx delivery will be noted in the product’s description.

Delivery surcharges and restrictions
A delivery surcharge will be added to certain items due to special
handling and shipping requirements (size, weight, etc.). These charges
will be noted by the retail price of the item to which they apply. They
will also be noted after the sub-total of your order in addition to the
regular shipping/handling charges.
We currently ship to all U.S. residential and business addresses in all 50 states. For APO/FPO addresses, please enter APO/FPO as the city, the correct U.S. state and your APO/FPO IP code. International shipping restrictions
Hibiscus Island Home Online currently does not ship internationally.
Shipping methods for backordered items
If items are temporarily out-of-stock, we will contact you as soon as
possible by phone or email. You will have the choice to keep the order
as placed, adjust it to exclude the backordered item or cancel the
order. The total shipping and handling charges will be appropriately
adjusted and charged as the merchandise is shipped. Please note total
shipping and handling charges will not increase for split orders of
Special order items
Special order items are not in stock and will ship in approximately
four to six weeks from the time of order. Combining Special Order items
with merchandise that is in stock on orders will cause a delay in the
shipping of the order until all of the items have arrived and are
available for shipping.
